Named after the iconic Ca' Rezzonico palace on Venice's Grand Canal, Rezzonico chandeliers represent the pinnacle of Murano glassmaking artistry. These opulent lighting masterpieces first gained prominence in the 18th century, adorning the grand ballrooms and reception halls of Europe's most prestigious palaces.
Each Rezzonico chandelier is a symphony of intricate handblown glass elements — delicate flowers, leaves, and arabesques crafted with techniques passed down through generations of master glassmakers. The complex assembly process requires months of meticulous work, as each component is carefully attached to create a cascade of luminous beauty.
Today, our Rezzonico collection continues this storied tradition, combining age-old techniques with contemporary sensibilities to create lighting fixtures of unparalleled elegance. Every chandelier in our Rezzonico collection is not merely a source of illumination, but a living testament to the artistic heritage of Murano.

Each Rezzonico chandelier undergoes a meticulous creation process that honors centuries of Murano glassmaking tradition, requiring exceptional skill and patience.
Our master artisans begin with detailed sketches and plans, determining the chandelier's dimensions, number of arms, and decorative elements. This crucial planning stage sets the foundation for the entire creation.
Using techniques unchanged for centuries, our glassblowers shape molten glass at 1400°C into delicate flowers, leaves, cups, and other decorative elements. Each piece is individually crafted by hand.
After cooling, each glass element undergoes meticulous finishing. Edges are polished, surfaces are treated, and any gold or other embellishments are applied through specialized techniques.
The chandelier's metal frame is carefully assembled, creating the structure that will support the glass elements. For larger Rezzonico pieces, this framework must be precisely engineered for balance.
In this most delicate phase, each glass element is carefully attached to the frame, creating the chandelier's iconic cascade effect. A large Rezzonico can contain hundreds of individual glass components.
Before shipment, Giuliano and Luz personally inspect each chandelier, ensuring perfect assembly, checking electrical components, and verifying that every element meets our exacting standards of quality.
